Privacy Policy
The Marble Game · Last updated: September 15, 2026
This policy describes how The Marble Game handles information when you play on the web or in the mobile app.
Information we process
- Display name — the name you type when hosting or joining an online room.
- Session player ID — a random ID stored in your browser/app session storage so you can stay in a room during that session.
- Game room data — room codes, seat colors, and in-progress game state kept in server memory while a match is active.
Advertising
The Android and iOS apps use Google AdMob to show a banner on the lobby and a full-screen interstitial after a finished game. Google and its partners may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to serve and measure ads. You can pay once through the store to remove ads. The store handles that purchase. We do not see your card number.
What we do not collect
- No account passwords
- No payment information (store purchases stay with Google or Apple)
- No precise location tracking
How we use information
Names and session IDs are used only to run multiplayer games (seat assignment, turn order, and live sync). Local single-player games against bots run on your device and do not require the multiplayer server.
Storage and retention
Online rooms are stored in server memory and are cleared when the server restarts or the room is no longer active. We do not sell personal information.
Children
The Marble Game is a general-audience board game. Do not submit personal information belonging to a child beyond a nickname used for play.
